These images took inspiration from a work by Raoul Ubac as well as the gargoyles on Reims Cathedral, whose faces are still covered in lead which melted in a roof fire during the First World War. But above all, this is all about the breath. The unsettled area of the throat and the trachea is both a chasm and a well of life.
