Cigarette paper

I gave up portraiture after passing my fine arts degree. Planks of wood, tracings, wax models, Stanley knives all replaced the canvas. I simplified everything: an oval of tracing paper to represent a figure and a fold of paper for the houses, a piece cut out of a plank for a landscape, a knife cut in a photograph, all the better to see it.
