A dwelling is scaled down to the thickness of a plank. « Slice House takes the form of a graceful and elegant coloured slab, standing on pillars in a field. It is pierced with windows adorned with Venetian blinds. This is in no sense a house (Slice House is uninhabitable) but is, rather, a sensuous site » (Paul Ardenne).
